ROCKLAND - A local man was arrested for arson Friday in connection with several fires he allegedly set in recent months.

John Moody, 51, of Rockland was charged with three counts of Class A arson for fires on July 24, Oct. 1 and Nov. 16 he allegedly admitted to starting, according to Rockland police Sgt. Jeffrey McLaughlin.
