BANGOR - As part of its effort to get the biggest bang for its bucks, the Bangor Y will close one of its three swimming pools later this summer.
The Aug. 20 closure of the Coombs Pool, located at the Y's Hammond Street facility, marks the first phase of a three-year strategic plan aimed at making more efficient use of the Y's resources, which include its facilities on Hammond Street and Second Street, said Rob Reeves, the group's executive director.See the full content of this document
