EDDINGTON - A Beals man died Monday night from injuries received during a head-on crash in the morning on Route 9.

Edwin Kulawiec, 75, was traveling west on his way to a doctor's appointment when his car went off the right side of the road and slammed into a tree head-on, according to Maine State Police Trooper Michael Johnston.
