BELFAST - City Hall has requested separate legal opinions on provisions within the city charter that mandate redistricting of the city's five wards.

City Clerk Roberta Fogg late last week mailed letters to the Office of Attorney General, the Maine Municipal Association and City Attorney William Kelly. All seek their interpretation of the city charter provision.
