BELFAST - The Belfast Energy-Climate Committee announces the energy challenge for Wednesday, April 22, Earth Day. Residents are asked to reduce energy usage, thus reduce greenhouse gases causing global and local climate change.
The challenge for that day is to use alternative transportation such as bicycles, skateboards, walking shoes, kayaks and public buses instead of driving whenever possible.
