Summary
Kevin Duplissie's commentary in the BDN editorial section, July 25, suggests that the city of Brewer failed to give notice of its June 27 city council meeting. He states that a call to Clear Channel Radio-Bangor did not substantiate the claim (by me) that information on that special meeting was sent to area radio stations.
The fact is that my office mailed notices of that meeting to area radio stations on June 23. I spoke with the news director at Clear Channel Monday and was told that she does receive notice of all Brewer City Council meetings.
