BUCKSPORT - Shakespeare's three witches will meet again next week as the Bard of Avon's tragedy "Macbeth" comes to the shores of the Penobscot for the Bucksport High School's first Shakespeare Festival.
The festival kicked off this week with a school assembly and will end on Tuesday, Feb. 5, with performances of "Macbeth" by The Theater at Monmouth. There will be a performance for students during the day and a public performance at 7 p.m. at the Bucksport Performing Arts Center at the middle school. There is no charge for the public performance, but donations to the Bucksport Area Cultural Arts Society, which is working with the school department on the festival, are welcome.See the full content of this document
