Calais Police to Crack Down On Teen Drinking

Summary


CALAIS - Kids who drink can expect to have the police breathing down their neck.

The department announced Wednesday that it has received a $5,000 grant from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Substance Abuse. The money will be used for overtime pay for officers. The plan is to target areas where underage drinking occurs. The grant runs through May 2006.
