Summary
In response to your "Rising Revenue Tide" editorial (BDN, Nov. 25) you pointed out that corporate revenues and personal incomes have improved which has led the way to the increased state sources of money.
There was no mention of the added revenue that came from the Bush tax cuts that kept more of our earnings in the state. This money is spent here and not in Washington which also adds to more Maine sales taxes and fees being generated and paid by Maine residents which then go solely to the state.See the full content of this document
