Two Men Charged in Attack in Veazie Woman Arrested in Assault Released

BANGOR - Two men accused of beating and robbing a Veazie woman last Friday evening before taking her to her parents' home in search of more cash remained Thursday night at Penobscot County Jail unable to make bail.

Jonathan Irwin, 34, of Bangor and Nicholas Pellon, 40, of Norton, Mass., made their initial appearances earlier in the day in 3rd District Court in Bangor on charges of Class A robbery, Class D theft and Class D assault. District Court Judge Charles A. Dow set bail for both men at $10,000 cash or $50,000 surety.
