ASHLAND - Mindy Chasse, who played the fourth quarter on a sprained ankle she sustained in the third period, recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds as Ashland held off Katahdin of Stacyville 47-43 in high school girls basketball action Thursday.

Chasse hit 12 out of 14 free throw attempts for the Hornets, who led by as many as 18 in the second half. Whitney Flint chipped in with 10 points.
