BANGOR - The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor will hold a special exhibit for the 20th anniversary of the death of Charlie Howard beginning July 7, in the Dorothy Memorial Hall, located at 120 Park St.

"Charlie Howard Twenty Years Later: How Far has Maine Come?" examines the impact of Howard's death on the history of human rights in Maine. The traveling exhibition features pieces drawn from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Collection of the Sampson Center for Diversity in Maine at the University of Southern Maine.
