ORONO - The Blaine House Conference on Volunteerism being held at the University of Maine on Oct. 12 will include numerous workshops on a variety of topics: from volunteer management basics, to marketing and volunteering in times of disaster to fundraising.
The 2010 keynote speaker will be Susan E. Stroud, executive director and founder of Innovations in Civic Participation, a leader in resources and advocacy for youth civic engagement programs. Stroud also serves as co-director of the Global Service Institute, a project of ICP and the Center for Social Development at Washington University, with a mission to increase knowledge and understanding of service worldwide.See the full content of this document
