DEXTER - A local woman was arrested early Tuesday morning for allegedly slashing her husband's arm during a domestic altercation, severing a muscle and an artery.

Nekole Harmon, 21, was charged with aggravated assault with a knife and was taken to Penobscot County Jail after the 12:30 a.m. incident, according to Dexter Police Chief Art Roy.
