Summary
I am extremely disappointed that one of our leaders in the Maine Senate is choosing to make the current budget a strictly partisan issue. In his column of April 23-24, Senate Minority Leader Paul Davis would have us believe the recently passed budget was enacted for partisan reasons only. Perhaps some readers will believe Davis, but I would like to think there are enough citizens in our communities who know the realities of our current economy. We know the consequences of our actions.
