BREWER, Maine -- Though unusual, the deaths of an elderly couple found together Thursday morning are not considered suspicious, a Brewer Police Department detective said Friday.
The bodies of Ernest Hardin, 83, and his 87-year-old wife, Jeanne Hardin, were found shortly before 9:30 a.m. by a neighbor who went to their home at Eagle Ridge Mobile Home Park to check on them after they did not show up for a planned activity, Detective Sgt.
