ELLSWORTH - An Ellsworth man was injured Wednesday evening when he was struck by a vehicle while walking on Route 3 near the Eagle's Lodge motel.
According to Ellsworth police Officer Chad Wilmot, James Williams, 18, was walking north into town at about 5 p.m. when he attempted to cross the road. He had crossed the northbound lane, but stepped into the southbound lane in the path of a van driven by Eulala Haynes, 80, of Hulls Cove.See the full content of this document
