Summary
I was pleased to the see the editorial, "Help for Troubled Lawyers" (BDN, Feb. 9), regarding the good work that David Key is doing with the Maine Assistance Program for Lawyers and Judges.
I have worked with David and I appreciate the level of energy, commitment and concern he brings to bear on behalf of troubled lawyers or judges. As is the case with all of us who work in employee assistance programs he provides confidential help to folks whose issues may well be interfering with the quality of their work, jeopardizing their relationships, or putting themselves or others at risk. I would add that most large and medium-sized organizations and firms in Maine do have EAP programs available for their employees and their households.See the full content of this document
