I'm not surprised, but still disgusted, that Rep. Mike Michaud and Rep. Tom Allen voted for HR 979, seeking to cite Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten for contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with subpoenas issued in the course of the outrageous and arrogant investigation into President Bush's firing of eight U.S. attorneys, an act well within his discretion.
Do the Dems honestly think those of us outside the circle of the Kool-Aid drinking sycophants can't see this whole charade is just another desperate, hateful, envy-driven attempt to defame the administration? Where was this indignation when Bill Clinton fired 93 U.S. attorneys upon taking office? This isn't some little-known fact heard only on conservative talk radio. It's now well-known.
