ROCKLAND - The Rockland Public Library will host two events celebrating Finnish-American culture starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. an exhibit will open in the library's display cases featuring Finnish textiles, glassware, ceramics and other craft items. Finnish coffee and pastries will be available. At 3:30 p.m. there will be a children's program titled "Finnish American Show 'n' Tell," featuring Lynda Stinson sharing the Finnish heritage of the local area.
