MOUNT DESERT - A fire of unknown origin destroyed a home in the Pretty Marsh section of town Wednesday afternoon.
According to Mount Desert Fire Chief Mike Bender, the home owned by Penelope Place was fully in flames when the first firefighters arrived at the scene. There was no one inside the 1 1/2-story building at the time. The owner was at a neighbor's home when the fire was discovered.See the full content of this document
