A Maine man wanted on drug possession and other charges in his home state remained at large Monday after he eluded law enforcement officers in eastern Colorado on Saturday.

Jason Belmer, 25, fled into a cornfield after the vehicle that he and Michelle Carmack, 27, both of Corinna, were traveling in was stopped for speeding at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by a Colorado State Patrol officer on westbound Interstate 70, five miles from Burlington.
