Fundraiser to Feature Midcoast Talent

CAMDEN, Maine -- Hope Elephants, a local nonprofit organization, is hoping the public will join friends and neighbors for an evening of music, laughter and fun, as well as a cash bar and silent auction at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Camden Opera House, 29 Elm St. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The fundraising event will have something for audience members of all ages and features some performers from the midcoast region. Performances will include one of Maine's best-known personalities, The humble Farmer, the jazz band Swing Shift featuring guitarist Gary Clancy, the vocal and piano stylings of international recording artist Gintare, and Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist Paul Sullivan. The host and master of ceremonies for the evening will be Slim Goodbody -- also know as John Burstein.
