BREWER - Investigators from the state Fire Marshal's Office on Monday had not yet determined the cause of Saturday's antiques shop fire on Route 1A, but they said it may have been a faulty furnace.
According to Lt. Robbie Wildes of the Brewer Fire Department, building owner David Mitchell recently worked on the boiler that has been suspected as the cause of the fire.
