Summary
On Feb. 22, I picked up the Bangor Daily News because of the story on "He is my hero." I found it to be very heartwarming to see someone so young, with a family, who died for his country - Staff Sgt. Eric Ross. As I turned to page A10 to finish this story, I saw how they placed the flag for him as they drove him to his resting place. I am a mother of three sons and my heart goes out to this young man's family.
My real reason for writing this letter is to ask what were you thinking when you placed the story of a U.S. soldier pleading guilty to the rape and murder of an Iraqi girl right under the heartwarming story of Staff Sgt. Eric Ross. Could you have not found a better place for this story?See the full content of this document
