BANGOR - The Bucksport man whose paint-speckled face, shoes and clothes reportedly gave him away was indicted Tuesday by the Penobscot County grand jury for allegedly stealing a car from the Bangor Mall last month and painting it blue.

In addition to being indicted on charges of theft by unauthorized taking and aggravated criminal mischief, Paul W. Winters Jr. was indicted on a charge of operating the stolen car after his license had been revoked.
