Katahdin Career Fair Touted As Success

Summary


MILLINOCKET - Exhibiting businesses were nearly overwhelmed Wednesday when more than 320 people packed into the American Legion Hall for a four-hour career fair.

Traveling from as far away as Howland and Patten, attendees gathered pamphlets, perused displays and talked jobs with more than 30 potential employers. Roughly 250 people showed up in the first 90 minutes, which created an interesting situation, according to Frank Crosby, who heads the employer services group at the Career Center.
