AUGUSTA - A bill to crack down on wild blueberry thefts is in. But a ban on the sale of energy drinks to minors is out, as is a move to shove the pine cone and tassel aside as Maine's state flower.
Bills that would make it illegal to smoke in a vehicle in which anyone under 18 is present also will be considered. The measures, sponsored by Reps. Patricia Blanchette, D-Bangor, and Brian Duprey, R-Hampden, are modeled on a Bangor ordinance that took effect in January.See the full content of this document
