Union 90 Files Letters of Intent for School Consolidation Effort

MILFORD - All four school boards within Union 90 have filed their letters of intent for consolidation with the state education commissioner.

The effort to consolidate Maine's 152 school administrative systems into 80 regional school units was signed into law in early June, and Friday, each school unit was to have filed a notice with the commissioner of its intent to engage in planning and negotiations with other schools.
