LINCOLN - Town officials have chosen a potential developer for the downtown corner lot destroyed by a fire in January 2002.

At a special meeting Monday night, the council voted unanimously to contract with resident Sterling Osgood to be the tentative developer for the town-owned, half-acre site at the corner of Main Street and West Broadway. The motion authorized Town Manager Glenn Aho to enter into the agreement with Osgood, although no contract has been signed.
