MADAWASKA - Madawaska High-Middle School Principal Conrad Cyr will continue in his position next year, after an agreement was reached in executive session Tuesday night. He had submitted his resignation more than a week ago.

After a 45-minute executive session with the school committee and its Portland attorney, Daniel Rose, Cyr asked that his resignation be withdrawn. Superintendent Dr. Danny R.P. Michaud, who had accepted Cyr's resignation by letter just more than one week ago, accepted the withdrawal.
