Maine National Guard Bestows Honors On 3 Members of 133rd Engineers Group

Summary


BELFAST - It was a somber ceremony Saturday at the Belfast Armory as three members of the Maine National Guard 133rd Engineers Battalion's Company A were honored for their service in Iraq.

Some 80 Guard members stood at attention as Betrand Poulin, the father of the late Sgt. Lynn Poulin of Freedom, killed in Mossul on Dec. 21, 2004, and Lorie Jones, the widow of Sgt. Michael Jones of Unity, were given state medals.
