Man Caught Driving 70 Mph Over Limit

Summary


A Glenburn man passed a Maine State Police cruiser on Oct. 25 going three times the speed limit, then attempted to hide from the trooper who turned to chase him down, Trooper Brian Bean said Friday.

Brandon Harvey, 29, was heading toward Bangor on Route 221 in Glenburn around 6:30 a.m. when he passed Bean going 105 mph near the junction of Lancaster Brook Road, where the speed limit is 35 mph, the trooper said.
