BAR HARBOR - A local man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly stole credit cards from a car and used them to buy items at area businesses, including a $10,000 winning lottery ticket, a local police officer said Friday.

Charles "Snoopy" Gibson, 27, made his initial appearance in Hancock County Superior Court last week. He is facing six criminal counts, including burglary, theft, misuse of identification and conspiracy to commit theft.
