Summary
On Election Day, Mainers have an important decision to make. Give equal rights to gays and lesbians in the areas of housing, employment, credit, accommodations and education. Nowhere does it say "marriage."
This does not allow for same sex marriage. The people against equal rights are using marriage as a smoke screen to hide the fact that they want discrimination to continue against gays and lesbians. Will the issue of same sex marriage be brought up in the future? Probably yes. But I'm 100 percent sure that Maine residents will have a chance to vote on same sex marriage just as they are having the chance to vote on equal rights.See the full content of this document
