CANAAN - Although detectives continue to work daily on solving the slaying of Cheryl Murdoch, 37, and the disappearance of Shirley Moon Atwood, 35, both of Canaan, there "are no new developments," Maine State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland said Friday.
