OLD TOWN - At its regularly scheduled meeting this Thursday evening, the Old Town City Council will review the results of the herd-reduction bowhunt for deer that was conducted over two weeks in December on two parcels of city-owned land. Representatives from the state Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and the Maine Bowhunters Association will be on hand to present information and answer questions.
The controversial hunt was the first in recent memory on Marsh Island, which has been a designated game preserve since 1965.See the full content of this document
