AUGUSTA - The Maine Human Rights Commission on Monday found reasonable grounds in a complaint from two gay men who say they were illegally asked about the nature of their relationship when they tried to rent a house.

The case marks the first in which the panel found reasonable grounds to a housing discrimination claim based on sexual orientation since that protected class was added to the state's human rights law.
