Economic Panel Says Midcoast Towns Need to Work Together

BELFAST - Local chambers of commerce are within their rights to toot their own horns, but not at the expense of neighboring chambers, according to the Knox-Waldo Regional Economic Development Council.

At the April meeting of the council last week at Waldo County General Hospital, Bob Hirsch of the business attraction committee stressed the importance of all the towns in the region working together for the economy.
