WATERVILLE - Two teams expected to be among the contenders for the Pine Tree Conference Class B football title lived up to that billing Saturday at Drummond Field. But Waterville converted two Brewer turnovers and a blocked punt into touchdowns to edge the Witches 26-20.

"They're in a little better shape right now of running the ballgame better," said Brewer coach Ed Ortego of Waterville. "We're working very hard at it, but we're not quite there yet."
