As most any veteran police officer can attest, traffic cops hear all manner of lame excuses and dubious rationalizations from motorists whom they have pinched for violating the state's motor vehicle laws.
But just when the officer thinks he's heard them all, some creative soul who is about to be bagged and tagged for aggravated DWD (driving while dumb), comes up with a more outlandish one.
