BANGOR -- Literacy Volunteers of Bangor is seeking volunteers. Teaching experience, foreign language skills or a degree in education are not required. Tutor training for volunteers interested in helping adults improve their reading will begin Wednesday, Jan. 11. Training classes for volunteers interested in teaching English as second language Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012. Both sessions take place at United Technologies Center, 200 Hogan Road.
