Summary
After 43 years as an investment adviser and many years as branch manager locally of HornBlowers & Weeks and Paine Webber, I read the editorial "Beating the Market a Risky Business" (BDN, Jan. 3) with great disappointment.
Your failure to distinguish the difference between investor and speculator or trader is unacceptable. Your suggestion that gambling on the securities markets has much the same allure as playing the slots or lottery was absurd and in very poor taste.See the full content of this document
