If you were not one of the thousands of people who spent Sunday morning on the Bangor Waterfront as part of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure, I want to tell you that you missed an amazing event. As Honorary Race Co-Chair Dora Winslow stated that morning, it was another great example of a community coming together to lend support for one another.
The rallying cry was loud and clear: We will not stand by as breast cancer threatens more women and men! We will make people aware of the risks, we will educate our community about screening and treatment options, and we will raise funds to support research to eradicate this horrible disease.See the full content of this document
