BAR HARBOR - Because of the torrents of rain that saturated the state for the last major holiday weekend of the tourist season, some store owners are saying that business has been a total washout.
"What business? It's been pretty much of a wipeout weekend for us, for both biking and kayaking," Glenn Tucker, owner of Coastal Kayaking Tours, said Sunday afternoon.
