EAST MACHIAS - An auction Saturday of the house and the household contents of a school district's late bookkeeper, who was imprisoned for several years in the 1990s for having embezzled about $300,000, will bring more than $60,000 to SAD 77 when all the numbers are counted.

May Bouchard, the SAD 77 superintendent, said she will learn a final tally on Friday from auctioneer Nellie Walton of Calais.
