BANGOR - A group of about 20 area residents got a sneak peek Tuesday night at a Democratic tax reform package that is expected to be debated heavily at its first hearing in Augusta on Thursday.
Rep. James Martin of Orono was host at a public forum at the William S. Cohen School in Bangor to educate residents about LD 1088, a bill that would reduce the state's income tax by 2 percent.
