GLENBURN - The Greater Pushaw Lake Association is taking steps to prevent already rising phosphorus levels from further increasing in the lake.

Jeff Hayward, president of the association, and Laura Wilson of the University of Maine's Cooperative Extension Water Quality office presented the most recent water quality data for the lake at last week's council meeting.
