HAYNESVILLE - Roy Dalton Aldrich, 82, husband of the late Virginia Mae (Pierce) Aldrich, passed away Jan. 6, 2012, in Haynesville. He was born Dec. 14, 1929, in Lincoln, the son of Reuben Roy and Viola (Carll) Aldrich.
He was educated in Wytopitlock and Lincoln schools, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a town manager and in wood harvesting, and was a foreman for Thompson Forest Products.
