HOWLAND - Instead of trying to censure SAD 31 board member Bruce Hallett for apparently breaking state law by getting paid to work for the school system, some school board members tried to censure the board member who criticized Hallett's actions. However, the rest of the board successfully argued against censuring Vice Chairwoman Noreen Shorey during last week's board meeting. No action was taken.
Board members met in executive session for 30 to 45 minutes last Wednesday, but not all of it with Shorey, because she left the executive session and meeting about halfway through.See the full content of this document
